Red Crabs Migration ( Natural Phenomenon )

Red crabs migration happen in Christmas island. it is 2.600 kilometers northwest from Perth, Western Australia. It is called Christmas Island because this island founded when Christmas.

Christmas Island is home for 14 types of land crabs, it is estimated that the number of crabs reaches until 45 millions.

Red crabs suddenly begin a spectacular migration from the forest to the coast. Red crabs migration is to breed and realese eggs into the sea. The migration begins in rainy season, its about October until November. The journey of the migration its about eight kilometers and it takes five until seven days. Usually the male crabs arrived first than the female.

What happen when migrations begins??

After arrived in the coast, the male crabs dig holes. they need to protect the female from other male crabs.  The marriage occurs near the hole. After that the male crab leave the holes while the females stay around the holes two weeks for laying eggs. When the females finished laying her eggs, they return to the forest and leave the eggs in the holes.

Crab eggs that have hatched will remain in the sea for three until four weeks. Then the crab children flocked going to the forest to grow there. Crabs are animals that active during the day. so, in the afternoon millions crabs filled the streets, yards, gutters, and even the walls of the building. However, this phenomenon actually attracts tourists. Many tourists intentionally come to watch the red migration. The crabs are directed through the pathway and some roads are closed for all types of vehicles. as you can see it still not a few crabs that die because the heat,trampled, and run over by cars. An estimated 10-15 millions crabs died during the migration period. 

  

Bakti Desa?

HI HELLO!! Today I wanna share my experience in an event who held by my school. This event called “Bakti Desa” its annual event and every eleventh grades students must join the event. With this event we thought about living in a village and we live 3 days with our foster parents. Of course there is many benefits from this event, but the important things is our social and our concern to environment are increased!!

We went to Cibeureum Village, with public transportation. It took about two hours until we finally and safely arrived. We gathered at Village hall for lunch and hear about the information. And then we walked to our foster parent home.

WHOA!! Im so happy when for the first time seen my foster parent! Oh yeah kinda forgot, I live in here with my group!! Angie, Renna, and Kiani. Basically our foster parent is a farmer and they are really kind to us! The way they treated us, its feel like we are they children. Every morning, we get breakfast together, our special menu in the morning is comro and ulen!!! We also volunteer to cook for lunch or dinner. When we went to the farm, we followed them and help them. In the afternoon, we usually teaching the children and play with them! This is so fun!! When the night comes, we joined the religious activity in the mosque. As a thank you to villager, we gave them donation such a foodstuff and etc.

In the last day, we went to Situ Cisanti!! It takes long time to go there, because we circling the route, but I was fun though!! Situ Cisanti is zero’s kilometers of Citarum river. Making a lot moment with my friend

Unfortunately, the time is up and we need to comeback home. And we leave our second family, I feel bad. And someday, I will visit them!!

Edu Passion 2019

 As we know that Edu Passion is an annual event at SMA 3 Bandung. This event provides all information about the university and information about lectures abroad. And this is my result after interviewing several stands.
1. UPI
The most popular Faculty of Social is the faculty of communication, while the most popular science faculty is the faculty of mathematics. The oldest faculty is the Faculty of Education. Educational science is divided into two,  including education administration and educational technology. The task is to review the curriculum so education in Indonesia will be much better. In addition, there are also libraries and information. The task is managing the library. Then, there is also a psychology faculty at UPI.
2. UNPAD
The most popular faculty is medicine.  There is a difference between psychology for science and psychology for social. Faculty with the highest competition is informatics engineering faculty and all faculty related to health.
3. UGM
The most popular faculty is medicine. The difference between the medical faculty at UNPAD and UGM is after graduation all students from UNPAD must do service in remote areas. But, if you choose UGM you can take specialization after graduate.
4. UI
The most popular faculty is medicine. In this university, all students can cross the majors. And UI has A accreditation for all study program.
6. UNISBA
UNISBA has a different major from the other university, that is preaching major. The advantages of this university are religious programs, boarding schools (only one week), and review about religion.
8. ITENAS
The most popular faculty is industrial machinery, informatics, civil engineering, and design. The advantages of this university are high competition, all students are open to each other, and comfortable atmosphere.

And not just university booth, in Edu Passion 2019 we have food booth too!! So you need feel hungry!!
Also, there is workshop and talk show, just for you!!
Cant wait to see Edu Passion next year!!

Myself

Hi!! My name is Vira Nurul Sayidah. I was born in Garut 02 Mei 2002. Im sixteenth years old now, i have two siblings, one little sister and one little brother. My father is an Army and my mother just a housewife.
   
 Im always looking to myself and i considered that i have ability of course dont forget, i have weakness too. Alot. Im telling you guys my ability, first is im a person that love nature so much. Im adding love nature to my ability because not everybody love nature right? I really like to enjoying the scenary, tracking, hiking, or planting trees wiht my scout friend. Second is Scouting Ability!! I love so much doing Pioneering, cracking kode, semaphore and many more. Then my weakness, first is i cant control my emotion so well. Sometimes i feel like im the happiest person in the world and sometimes i feel that i want to die already. Those things happen without any warning, it just go with the flow. Second, im weak in calculating lesson. Numbers, plus and minus everything about calculating i need to learn slowly because its hard for me, my brain cant reach it Lol, but yeah im trying and trying of course.

My hobbies are watching reality show and korean drama, playing guitar, cooking, gardening, and listening to music. i always do my hobby when i have spare time or when im bored. it is increased my mood at all

My extracuriculer in school is Scout!! i really enjoy the scout activites since in middle school. i love hiking, tracking, camping, and helping people. so now, my position in my extracuriculer is  a ranger mate, thats mean i need to be a good leader for my scout troop.

About achievment, when im in middle school. in first until third grade im the first champion in CALISTUNG. and got second place for atlethic in O2SN when im in 4 grade. From junior high school i always joined any scout competition,and some of them i won.
     
As a living human, i have goals and ambition. My goals in this year is i can pass my exam, and join the biggest scout event in the world that is International Scout Jamboree. And i want to be a kidney doctor! Because i really want to see my mom get cured from her sickness and of course helping people. But, some short of mind telling me that i wanna be a social worker. example i wanna work in UNICEF, WHO, and other organitation in the world There is many goals, but i cant write in all
        So how can i achieve my goals and my ambition? I need to work hard, learn and learn many things, and have some experience on it.
